Three Adventist Health System Hospitals Recognized by Becker's Hospital Review

Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Gordon Hospital and Florida Hospital Orlando all made top 100 lists, respectively.

Three Adventist Health System hospitals have been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review, a leading national health care publication. The hospitals, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Gordon Hospital and Florida Hospital Orlando, all landed on top 100 lists compiled by the outlet.

Becker's named Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center and Gordon Hospital to its list of 100 Great Community Hospitals for 2017. Many of the hospitals included on this list have been recognized for quality, patient satisfaction and overall excellence. For the purposes of this list, Becker's defines a community hospital as a facility with no more than 550 beds. The publication's editorial team selected its 100 Great Community Hospitals based on rankings and awards from organizations such as the National Rural Health Association, iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics, Healthgrades, CareChex, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Leapfrog Group.

In addition, Florida Hospital Orlando made Becker's Hospital Review's list of 100 Great Hospitals in America. According to Becker's, the hospitals on this list are renowned for excellence, are industry leaders in innovation, quality, patient care and clinical research, and have received recognition across various publications and accrediting organizations. In compiling the 100 Great Hospitals in America list, the Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals based on the analysis of several ranking and award agencies, including U.S. News and World Report's 2016-17 Honor Roll and specialty rankings, CMS star ratings, Leapfrog grades, Truven Health Analytics top hospitals, Most Wired hospitals and Magnet accreditation.
