Two key leadership changes to Adventist Health System's corporate revenue cycle management team have helped reinforce its intentional focus on optimizing the revenue cycle system and process, as well as enhancing the consumer experience. The organization has promoted Tim Reiner to senior vice president of revenue management, and James English has been named vice president of revenue management.
"We are excited and blessed to have Tim and James serving in these key leadership positions, as they both possess strong financial acumen and extensive experience with the revenue cycle systems," said Brent Snyder, chief information officer and senior finance officer for Adventist Health System. "It is more important now, than ever, to provide a consumer-friendly experience in scheduling, registering and paying for services. Enhancing the consumer experience around these elements will help us further connect with consumers and advance our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ."
Reiner will provide strategic and systemwide operational leadership for Adventist Health System's revenue management system and the alignment of revenue cycle operations in support of the organization's mission and vision. He previously served as vice president of revenue management for Adventist Health System, and prior to that, held positions as assistant director of patient financial services for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, central billing office director for Centra Care, and director of patient financial services for Adventist Health System. Reiner earned a master's degree in business administration from Webster University, and bachelor's degrees in both business administration and English from Southern Adventist University.
English, who will report to Reiner, will be responsible for pricing strategies, revenue analytics and revenue integrity across the organization. He previously served as vice president of revenue cycle financial operations for Florida Hospital. His past experience also includes serving as assistant vice president of revenue cycle and director of revenue management for Florida Hospital Orlando, and as revenue manager for Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center. English earned a master's degree in business administration from Webber International University, and a bachelor's degree in finance from Oakwood University.
