I would like to share this compliment from Kelly, a mother whose daughter needed an MRI right before a doctor's appointment. The compliment is for Lori Good-Turney who works in central scheduling at Shawnee Mission Health.

Kelly wrote, "Lori went above and beyond her usual scheduling duties to accommodate for my daughter needing an MRI scheduled in short notice. Her MRI was originally scheduled at another hospital, but they called the day before to tell me that it had to be cancelled, as the machine needed repairs. Because I didn't want her to wait weeks to be seen, I called Shawnee Mission Medical Center to see if they had an opening the next day. Lori did everything in her power to make the MRI happen, and we were able to make it to our doctor's appointment later that afternoon. Lori was fantastic and caring, and truly deserves this recognition."

Just as much as Lori's swiftness is appreciated by Kelly and myself, her commitment to follow through is as well. In doing all she could to schedule Kelly's daughter in her time of need, Lori demonstrated service excellence and embodied our culture of putting the patient first. Thank you, Lori, for Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.
