Jeffrey Bromme is executive vice president and chief legal officer for Adventist Health System. In this role, he leads the Adventist Health System Legal Department, which has primary responsibility for providing legal services to most Adventist Health System health care providers. Among his other responsibilities, he also provides leadership to the Adventist Health System Advocacy and Public Policy Department and the Adventist Health System Tax Department.
Prior to joining Adventist Health System in 2009, Bromme practiced law as a partner with Arnold & Porter, LLP. He served as General Counsel to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission from 1996-1999 and served as clerk for the Honorable Will Garwood, U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1986-1987.
Bromme earned a bachelor's degree from Southwestern Adventist University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and Texas (inactive status), and is authorized house counsel under Florida Bar rules. Bromme is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
